Protect the environment of our beautiful state and encourage tourism and outdoor activity.
Connecticut is a beautiful state with a great tradition of outdoor recreation. We also benefit from a robust tourism industry. I believe in protecting and enhancing our open spaces, forests, ponds, lakes, rivers and streams. Like many of my fellow citizens, I enjoy walking the dog on a trail, crabbing and clamming in the Long Island Sound, kayaking with my daughters and shooting clay pigeons. I love being outdoors in Connecticut, and will work to keep it vibrant, healthy and clean.
